Needlework and Textile Guild
NTGM is a multidisciplinary fiber-art guild with members whose interests range from quilting and embroidery to weaving, beading, wearable art, and fiber sculptures. NTGM sponsors locally and nationally recognized speakers and monthly member workshops. We have a great library featuring new art technique publications and special art forms and a “flea market” where we exchange fibers and embellishments from our stashes.
Meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, starting at 9:30 AM, at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 5500 N. Adams Rd., Troy, MI 48098. Our website with a link to a Google map showing the location of our meeting is: www.NTGM.org. Guests are welcome to attend morning lectures ($5 guest fee). Workshops are open to guests when space is available. For information on membership and attending our programs, please call Barbara Gash at (248) 338-3011.

The Ann Arbor Fiberarts Guild (AAFG) is an educational, not-for-profit club of fiber artists. It was founded in 1956 as a club for weavers and still has a large number of members who are weavers, as well as many members who create other forms of fiber art.
The focus of the AAFG is fiber and all techniques that involve using fiber or fiber techniques including: Basketry, Beading, Bead Embroidery, Crochet, Doll Making, Dyeing and Painting, Embroidery, Felting, Garment Design and Construction, Handmade Paper and Book Art, Knitting, Quilting, Sewing, Spinning, Weaving, and Surface Design.
The AAFG provides opportunities for fiber artists to meet and exchange ideas, and to learn about fiber art through lectures and workshops.
